Rubbish removal prices for every load size
Every price includes our two-person crew loading the truck, the drive away and the disposal fee. If a job runs past the loading time, extra labour is £30 plus VAT per 30 minutes.
A cubic yard is a block roughly 91cm long, wide and tall. The table is a guide: we confirm the price before we start, and you don't have to go ahead.

Heavy loads
Soil, rubble and concrete are priced by weight
Mixed builders waste and heavy commercial waste are priced by weight, not space. Loads up to 15 cubic yards or 1,200kg are £360 plus VAT.
That covers mixed loads of wet and heavy wood, rubble, tiles, soil, bricks and concrete, and a load that's mostly rubble is priced this way. Plasterboard is fine too, kept separate from the rest. A truck full of soil weighs far more than a truck full of furniture, which is why these loads aren't priced on the table above.
No side access? The crew can barrow rubble through the house to the truck.

How many bags is a tonne?
Roughly 30 to 35 bags of rubble weigh a tonne, at about 30kg a bag. So a heavy load of 1,200kg is somewhere around 36 to 42 bags.
A rough guide only. Wet soil and broken concrete weigh more per bag than dry rubble.

What we can't take
We can't take chemicals, clinical waste or other hazardous waste. Those need a specialist contractor. Paint and gas bottles are fine at the charges in the table. We don't remove asbestos, but we can collect asbestos that has already been removed, such as cement sheets, garage and shed roofs and floor tiles. Tell us about it first and send a photo for a price.

Labour is included
Every truck has a two-person crew, and the loading time for your load size is in the price. Extra labour is £30 plus VAT per 30 minutes.

The same prices every day of the week, with no travel charge or tolls. We don't charge you for parking fees, parking fines or the congestion charge.

We confirm the price before we start every job, and you're under no obligation to go ahead.

Ways to pay
You pay once the job is done, by card, cash, bank transfer or company cheque, but not personal cheques. Every job comes with a receipt and a waste transfer note, and businesses can be invoiced.

The minimum charge for rubbish removal with RLE Waste Clearance is £60 plus VAT, for a load of up to 1 cubic yard, roughly a few bags or one armchair. That includes 5 minutes of loading by the two-person crew, the drive away and the disposal. The next size up, 2 cubic yards, is £90 plus VAT.
Soil and rubble removal with RLE Waste Clearance is priced by weight rather than space. A heavy load of up to 15 cubic yards or 1,200kg is £360 plus VAT, which is roughly 36 to 42 bags of rubble. A load that's mostly rubble is priced this way, even with tiles and timber mixed in, and the two-person crew does the loading. Plasterboard is taken too, kept separate from the rest.
Every RLE Waste Clearance price is plus VAT: the load sizes, the heavy load and the extra-item charges. The 13 load sizes run from £60 plus VAT to £360 plus VAT, heavy loads of soil and rubble are £360 plus VAT, and extras such as a mattress at £10 plus VAT go on top. You get the total before any work starts, with no obligation to go ahead.
The load size comes from a photo of everything that's going. Send it with your postcode on WhatsApp to 07534 244774, and RLE Waste Clearance matches it to one of the 13 sizes, from 1 cubic yard up to a full truck of 15 cubic yards. The price is confirmed before work starts, and you only pay for the rubbish actually taken.
Loading time is built into each load size, from 5 minutes for the minimum load to 60 minutes for a full truck. If a job runs over, for example because of a long carry or a lot of stairs, extra labour is £30 plus VAT per 30 minutes. RLE Waste Clearance tells you if that is likely when it gives you the price.
Fridges, TVs and mattresses cost more to dispose of properly than general rubbish, so RLE Waste Clearance charges for them on top of the load price. A fridge or fridge freezer is £60 plus VAT, a chest freezer or American fridge freezer £90 plus VAT, a TV £10 plus VAT and a mattress £10 plus VAT. A fridge collected on its own is £60 plus VAT in total.
RLE Waste Clearance charges the same prices every day of the week and everywhere it covers, with nothing added for travel, tunnel tolls, the Dartford Crossing or the congestion charge. Parking fees and parking fines are never passed on to you either. When you send your photo, say where the truck can stop, such as a driveway, a side road or a loading bay.
Payment to RLE Waste Clearance is by card, cash, bank transfer or company cheque, once the job is done. Personal cheques aren't accepted. Regular commercial customers, such as offices, shops and builders who book clearances often, can ask for an account, subject to credit checks. The price is always agreed before any work starts.
